Arsenal icon Thierry Henry has shared the only moment in his career where he once asked for another player’s jersey.
During a chat in the studio as a CBS Sports pundit, the former France striker said Real Madrid and Brazil’s former number nine Ronaldo Nazario was the man.
“Ronaldo. R9. The real Ronaldo,” Thierry Henry said while also taking a slight dig at Cristiano Ronaldo in the same moment.
“For me, how many Ronaldos did you know growing up?”
Additionally, the former Liverpool defender Jamie Carragher chipped in to say: “The real one? To call him the ‘real Ronaldo’ now when we’ve got Cristiano,” he concluded.
Meanwhile, Cristiano Ronaldo and Man United are now building up to the English Premier League game against Watford this weekend.
