Liverpool forward Mohamed Salah continues to break records and leave a mark in both the Reds and Premier League history books.

Wednesday night’s 6-0 win against Leeds United, where he scored a brace, saw him achieve two new milestones.

First, the Egyptian surpassed Didier Drogba for most goal contributions by an African player in Premier League history.

His brace took his total contributions to 160 goals in the top-flight league, one better than Chelsea Drogba.

He also moved up to ninth on Liverpool’s all-time top scorers’ list, overtaking Harry Chambers in the process.

In total, Salah has now scored 152 goals in all competitions for Liverpool since his move from AS Roma in the summer of 2017.

Despite his impressive numbers, did you know that Salah is yet to score in the Carabao Cup?

The former Chelsea star’s record at Liverpool read;

  • Champions League – 34
  • Premier League – 114
  • FA Cup – 4

This could however change this weekend when Liverpool play Chelsea in the final of the competition, with Salah likely to start.
