Frank Lampard

English Premier League side Everton have appointed Frank Lampard as their new manager. 

The former England and Chelsea midfielder has agreed a two-and-a-half-year contract, and will lead the Toffees for the first time in the FA Cup fourth-round tie against Brentford at Goodison Park on Saturday 5 February.

Lampard takes over from former Liverpool manager Rafael Benitez, who was shown the door just sin months into the role.

Lampard started his coaching career with Derby County in 2018, before taking over as head coach at former club Chelsea.

He guided the Blues to fourth place in the Premier League and the FA Cup final in his first season in charge.

Lampard will work with Joe Edwards as his Assistant Manager, Paul Clement as First Team Coach, and Chris Jones as First Team Coach and Head of Performance.
