Champions League top scorers

Champions League top scorers: The UEFA Champions League returned this week with four Round of 16 matches played.

The race for the top scorer award continues to be an exciting affair, and it promises to go right to the end.

Robert Lewandowski and Sebastien Haller are the frontrunners, with the latter edging ahead of the Polish forward on the last day of group action last week.

The Ajax striker made history after finding the back of the net in the Dutch club’s last match of the group, a 4-2 win over Sporting CP.

Haller now leads the scoring charts this season with 10 goals, one ahead of Lewandowski.

Liverpool’s Mohamed Salah was on target once again as Liverpool beat Inter Milan on Wednesday night, taking his tally to eight goals.
