Mason Greenwood

Nike has severed connections with Manchester United’s Mason Greenwood in the aftermath of his arrest and subsequent release on bail on charges of assault, r*pe, and threatening to m*rder.

The sportswear behemoth first stopped their partnership with the 20-year-old and committed to ‘closely monitor the issue,’ but have since terminated it entirely.

“Mason Greenwood is no longer a Nike athlete,” a Nike spokesperson told The Athletic.

Greenwood has already been pulled from video games such as FIFA 22 and, while his club has not yet formally suspended him, he will refrain from training and participating in games until further notice.
