Barcelona and Spotify

Barcelona are thought to have signed an agreement with Spotify for a sponsorship deal that will begin next season.

Barça’s financial difficulties have been widely publicized for some years, and the club will appreciate any increase in revenue.

The contract, according to RAC1, includes sponsorship of the men’s and women’s teams’ shirts, as well as the Blaugrana’s training outfit. The club’s shirt is presently sponsored by Japanese e-commerce business Rakuten, however, the partnership is expected to expire at the conclusion of the season.

The specifics of this are unknown, but renaming the club’s illustrious stadium might be contentious. The agreement is expected to be finalized today.

Spotify has already been associated with football. Daniel Ek, the company’s co-founder, and CEO, indicated an interest in acquiring Arsenal from the Kroenke family following the European Super League catastrophe last year.

Ek even stated in April that he had “acquired cash” for the acquisition, despite the fact that no firm proposal materialized.
