UEFA CL Final 2022: As the group stage nears its conclusion, the 2021-22 Champions League campaign is well underway.
With only two games left, clubs will have to pick up their game if they want to advance to the knockout stages of Europe’s most coveted championship.
Of course, there is one trophy that everyone involved is vying for: the title of Europe’s top club.
While there are plenty of games scheduled between now and the conclusion of the season, many are hoping to secure a spot in Europe’s biggest contest, the Champions League final.
Date and location for UEFA CL Final 2022
The 2022 Champions League final is set to take place on Saturday, May 28 at the Gazprom Stadium in Russia.
Zenit St Petersburg’s new home debuted in 2017 and was inspired by Kisho Kurokawa’s Toyota Stadium in Japan. The state-of-the-art stadium has a retractable roof and a seating capacity of over 60,000.
The 2021 final was supposed to be held in the Gazprom Stadium, but the UEFA Executive Committee decided to transfer it to Lisbon, Portugal, due to the current COVID-19 pandemic.
