Liverpool forward Mohamed Salah continues to be the bane of the Premier League and was rewarded for his excellent vein of form after being voted as PFA Fans’ Player of the Month for September.

Mohamed Salah has one again been the brightest attacking star under Jürgen Klopp at Anfield in the opening weeks of the 2021-22 Premier League season, netting six goals in seven league appearances thus far while currently sitting on goals in five consecutive outings for the Reds.

Three of those five goals came in September against Leeds United, Crystal Palace, and Brentford, while his form also boiled over into Europe to the tune of three goals during Liverpool’s two Champions League wins against AC Milan and FC Porto.

Mohamed Salah went into the international break off yet another instrumental performance as the Egyptian icon bagged a goal and added an assist in Liverpool’s 2-2 draw with holders Manchester City at Anfield.

Mohamed Salah also was voted as Standard Charter’s Men’s Player of the Month for September after fans voted on the clubs official website.

He has continued to score on the continent, however, with two goals in as many games in the Champions League group stage play.

But with his return to England, many expected Ronaldo – and a brilliant supporting cast, at least on paper – to be right up in the thick of it for the Premier League golden boot. Salah may have won the early exchanges, but Ronaldo’s record speaks for itself.
